The black voter, politics as therapy @YvetteCarnell
His knowledge as a surgeon and his beliefs as a Christian make him appear as two different people. He serves two masters…fact and fantasy. His BELIEFS are potentially dangerous. Never trust a man who says “God told me…” Many have died because of these delusions. By Jeremiah Camara
Pope Francis came on the world stage and was masterful at pointing out the evil that governments, corporations and rich people do. He touched on hot topics like poverty, war, environment, human and religious rights. Like a rockstar on a world tour he sold out every arena.
Pope Francis directed his tongue lashing at the Conservative wing of the Republican Party so much so the Speaker of the House John Boehner who invited Pope Francis to speak could be seen sobbing in the chambers. He turned in his resignation the next day.
What Pope Francis is also masterful at is throwing stones at the rest of the world while ignoring the massive sex abuse and pedophilia culture in the Catholic Church. The head of the Vatican Government and Vatican Bank, institutions run tighter than any Mafioso. – @OgbeniAyotunde
Jeb Bush is asking Americans to work harder and longer hours, like flipping burgers at Burger King 50hrs a week is what got him to where he is today. – @OgbeniAyotunde
Governor Mike Pence and Indiana State Republican lawmakers changed their “Religious Rights” law due to the blowback it received, the potential loss of revenue from major corporations like Apple and the NCAA finals scheduled for this weekend pulling out. Governor Mike Pence, Republican lawmakers and the people of Indiana they represent did not change their discriminatory religious beliefs against the LGBT community. In this case the God they trust the All Too Mighty Dollar won.
Senator Todd Akin of Missouri voiced his beliefs about the reproductive process of women and was voted out of office. Governor Mike Pence and the Republican lawmakers of Indiana passed a discriminatory law against a significant part of the American population and remain in office with high approvals from the people of Indiana they represent for upholding God’s law. So as billions of Christians celebrate Easter this weekend they should also remember the millions of people killed every year in the name of God by governments all over the world. @OgbeniAyotunde
Progressive radio host Bill Press argued on Tuesday that Senate Republicans “should have thought about” the penalty for treason before they attempted to undermine President Barack Obama’s negotiations with Iran.
After 47 Republican senators sent a letter to Iranian leaders telling them that any nuclear deal that the Obama administration agreed to would be undone by a future president, The New York Daily News branded the lawmakers “traitors” on its Tuesday cover.
On his Tuesday radio show, Press agreed that what the Republicans had done was treason “by any definition.”
“What’s the penalty for treason? Life in prison without parole? Or death by hanging?” he asked. “Perhaps 47 Republican Senators should have thought about that before they all signed a letter to the Supreme Ayatollah of Iran, warning him not to make a deal with President Obama.”
“This is the Second Act for Republicans who would rather go to war against Iran than try to reach an agreement with Iran to drop its pursuit of nuclear weapons,” the radio host noted. “First, they invite Bibi Netanyahu to attack negotiations with Iran. Now, they try to sabotage any deal with this letter.”
Press pointed out that the United States was at the negotiating table with its partners in China, France, Germany, Russia, and Britain. But “a group of all Republican Senators send a letter to Iran trying to queer the deal,” he said.
“First, Republicans used Netanyahu to undermine President Obama’s attempts at diplomacy. Now, they’re using the Ayatollah,” Press lamented. “In my book, by any definition, that, my friends is treason.”
“And it should be dealt with accordingly.”
According to Article Three of the U.S. Constitution, “Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”
While Press floated the death penalty, other observers have pointed out that the GOP senators might have violated the Logan Act, which carries a penalty of up to three years in prison. – Raw Story
The Koch Brothers have put in a bid of $1b to buy the U.S. Presidency. Actors like Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and a flock of Republican candidates who have long preached the anti big government mantra to the American people are auditioning for the role of the Billion Dollar President for Casting Directors Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch.
The script calls for a puppet, other actors include The US Supreme Court, US Senate and House of Representatives, Governors and Ministers. The first action shot of this billion dollar production is at the Oval Office with the Billion Dollar President signing into law the Keystone XL Pipeline bill, a bill which Obama had vetoed. In America we have a population that tolerates politicians and lawmakers alike spewing hateful and racially charged rhetoric at President Barack Obama regardless of how hurtful this might be to his daughters Sasha and Malia, and his wife Michelle. These same politicians swear they don’t have a war against women, but we know better.
These “disguise leaders” as Fela called them played political correctness last Halloween, so they did not wear the Obama Blackface masks to hide their faces of hate. Guess what they did, they pulled the shades in polling booths and expressed their hate for the black man in the White House.
You see in America, African Americans are never judged by their performance on the job but by the color of their skin. So America has the lowest unemployment rate in 6yrs, the economy recovered from the Bush years, he got Bin Laden, he mandated affordable healthcare for all Americans, the list goes on. Still he is judged by the color of his skin.
President Obama accomplished these despite a Republican congress and rich white cats disguised as corporations hiding their riches overseas. Some call them the illuminate I call them the Klan.
They are the ones that swore on the first day he took office to do everything in their power to make his presidency a failure. You see they are scared of another young black man in the White House so they take out the next Obama in Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown.
