Everyone living in Nigeria today know our digital network is at best unreliable and can be as horrible and frustrating as the electricity supply. These network providers who rely on electricity to power their network infrastructure have learnt to deliver third world digital service to their Nigerian subscribers. They power their tens of thousands of cell towers with diesel fuel generators. These greedy corporations like MTN, Airtel, Glo, Globalcom, Etisalat and company would rather burn the planet with fossil fuels than invest in solar or wind energy to power their cell towers.
Then comes the brilliant minds in INEC who have millions of young uncorrupt minds from the National Youth Service Corps at their disposal to hand count reliable paper ballots, instead they bought digital readers a technology that can easily be hacked on a dime. It goes without saying that no tests or simulations were ever performed on this product nor an audit of the acquisition process. Just so am not stating the obvious the Good Fellas at INEC went with mission impossible for the billions of dollars they stand to rip off. – @OgbeniAyotunde
The President of Nigeria, Senators, Representatives and government appointees are some of the highest paid amongst their peers. Yet 90% of the elected and appointed officials lack the qualification and experience needed. They are there strictly to stack racks through stealing and cronyism. When the time comes for them to be voted out or show some accountability they doggedly hold on to the job like two dogs stuck. They become clowns in a circus trying to cover up their tracks, their MO is always the same
You see in Nigeria stealing government money is the easiest part of the job you don’t need a masters or doctorate degree, in Nigeria degrees and titles are used to masquerade themselves and dazzle the people believing the people are not educated enough to see they are thieves disguised as leaders. – Ogbeni Ayotunde
If the operative word in INEC is “Independent” why then is the Commission taking orders from the President legitimized by past Heads of State to postpone the scheduled election date of February 14, 2015. Well the Independent National Electoral Commission gave into President Goodluck Jonathan‘s order by moving the elections 6 weeks to March 28. The President wants 6 weeks to fend off Boko Haram from their strongholds so everyone in the affected areas can vote.
The people already gave the President 6 years to fend off Boko Haram which he absolutely squandered by ignoring them for those 6 years. The President lied to the people of Nigeria 6 months after more than 200 school girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram that a ceasefire agreement had been reached with Boko Haram and the Chibok school girls will be freed, effectively using the girls for political gain. The President just last month attended a solidarity march in Paris for the 17 people killed at Charlie Hebdo while 2000 people were massacred in Baga Nigeria. No matter though the people of Nigeria are still marching on in March for Buhari.
Mr. President you are dealing with 6s the area code to the Devil. Sweet Bishop Oyedepo proclaims to have the keys to the gates of hell and hipped you to the digits. Then you have Buhari drawing 7s the number of completion from February 14 to March 28 all with the factor of 7. The people of Baga Borno Nigeria got relief from the killings on the 7th of January. – Ogbeni Ayotunde
