Juju Films spent the last 5 years capturing and documenting in digital & analog formats the people, places and landscapes of Nigeria. With natural waterfalls, springs, monoliths, mountains, valleys, lush rain forests and savannah, native animal and plant life, we discovered the hidden dynamic beauty of a people rich in cultural and natural resources.

It has become increasingly difficult within the past couple of years to freely move around Nigeria to capture these amazing images due to terrorism in parts of the country today. This is a problem affecting the ways of life of many ethnic and cultural groups in the country today.

Security considerations have dramatically increased our daily operating expenses. Through this project we came to realize we simply could not disassociate ourselves from the humanitarian issues facing the people we photograph and document.

We seek donations and pledges to offset these cost (no minimum amount requirement).

Thank you kindly for your consideration.

I Believe In The Children

I believe the sun shall rise tomorrow, I believe the rain nourishes the earth. I believe in creation and understand evolution. I believe in the innocence of children. I believe given the chance the youth shall grow. I believe in life.

I believe in the power of the universe. I believe in my God. I believe my beliefs can never change the universe. I beleive my beliefs are not worth dying or killing for. I believe in the children awoken in their sleep to be  slaughtered by Boko Haram as a sacrifice to their God. This is for the children not given the chance to believe. Ogbeni Ayotunde

Igbo Mother & Her Baby Girls (Picture of The Year 2013)

Igbo Mother & Her Baby Girls - Picture of The Year 2013

This is my second entry for picture of the year. I shot this image in Iheaka Village in Enugu State Nigeria. This image i believe captures the full essence of an Igbo mother. The natural and bold beauty of motherhood. Mother naturally passes this essence to her girls. Notice that mother and her girls are dressed in clothes made from the same fabric.
