The writing is on the wall, Goodluck has run out of luck, the corrupt ones are already shaking in their leather slippers, I am proud to be one of the millions working to elect Muhammadu Buhari the next president of Nigeria. For the first time in Nigeria’s political history poor and average citizens are donating money and volunteering for the Buhari presidential campaign as oppose to the usual practice of politicians buying the peoples votes. Change would do Nigeria good. But Buhari undoubtedly has his work cut out for him – the opposition will be aggressive.
When is the election?

Most definitely Dennis, they have been very aggressive they attacked scores of his supporters on their way to his rally in Port Harcourt. He spent the day visiting them in the hospital.

Dennis I posted this same statement on my Facebook page and here are some comments that you might find interesting.
(Friend) Buhari is animal in human skin. He put your hero, Abami Edaa, Fela Anikulapo in prison for weed and says given the chance he’ll do it all over again!!! Go research him well well. Lawal Ojuolape, Bernard Ogedengbe & Bartholomew Owoh R.I.P. Muhammad Buhari, one day will be one day. God willing.
(Me) I believe Buhari was acting within the laws of the land when he locked Fela up. I was locked up with Abami Eda Fela Anikulapo Kuti in 1997 in NDLEA prison Ikoyi Lagos under the Abacha regime and you remember in 2012 in Abuja again by the NDLEA under Goodluck Jonathan under those same laws of the land. The crusade for Baba if any is in the hands of Yeni, Femi, Seun and the rest of the Anikulapo Kuti family if they hold a grudge against Buhari, same goes for the rest of the guys you mentioned.
Baba Iyabo actually sent the 99 soldiers that tossed 78yr old Funmilayo Ransome Kuti out the window of a 2nd floor room in Kalakuta Republic killing her, Beko dey there too which led to Fela delivering coffin for Head of State. If am not mistaken you are one of the biggest Obasanjo supporter this side of Abeokuta, remember 1999 in Atlanta in Sherubanwon’s house.
(Friend) you all missing the point. Let me make it simple. GMB is a bad human being and he is definately not a leader of anybody and has no achievements on record none. His main selling point is ANTI-CORUPTION, which for some reason holds a lot of apeal to the masses at this time. Dont ask me why. The Nigerian Presidency for better or for worse is a very POWERFUL position as things stand right now. The Presidency is not like the governorship of Lagos State that some ‘god fada’ can control things. Witness OBJ as with GEJ, you cant control the President like a Governor, the Asiwaju is playing with fire. Once your GMB gets the presidency all bets are off and Ebola Tinubu will be the first to go. WAKE UP 20/20 NO MORE MALLAMS SIGNING FEDERATION ACCOUNT, AT LEAST FOR 1000 YRS. As far as I am concerned the real problem now is VP Sambo in 2019, because no way for Mallams zoining be damned.
(Friend) Babalawo, ewolewo? Forget this Buhari dillitante real animal in human skin. I am not worried about him at all he got a big fat zero chance of winning the presidency. The man NEVER achieve anything in his life, why would he start being a winner at 72 yrs old after playing on ethnic solidarity to get ahead all his life? I am more worried about VP Sambo and 2019 because as far as we’re concerned, NO MORE MALLAMS signing the Federation Account.
(Me) When writer and producer George Pelecanos was asked what he saw as the solution to racism in America he said once our generation dies off, our children don’t care about racism. Jay-Z said white kids listening to Snoop Dog music don’t care about racism.
The same applies to our situation in Nigeria, I thought the Fulani, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Calabar, Igala, Gwari and the rest of the 500 ethnic groups that make up Nigeria are all Nigerians. All I see is you stoking the flames of ethnic and religious divide, living in Northern Nigeria gave me a better understanding of the genius of our people moving the capital of Nigeria to Abuja.
You see the Gwari people who’s land Abuja sits on are the most accommodating and peaceful people in Nigeria who gladly gave up their land without spilling blood as a symbol of a united Nigeria. Babangidi is from Niger State, a Gwari enclave.
Unfortunately we Yorubas are no doubt famously known for quarterbacking ethnic and religious divide. We called them Mallam in Yoruba land to demean our Northern brothers and make running jokes of a news cast announcement of an accident on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway where 5 people died and one Mallam.
Meanwhile Mallam and Ogbeni means Mister. Just like the word Nigger does not carry the same weight today as it did in the Jim Crow era in America, today in Nigeria we use Mallam to demean our intelligent Northern brothers who choose not to be called Doctor, Engineer, Architect or Alhaji. There is a long list of Mallams who have contributed to the development of Nigeria including Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Mallam El Rufai, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in Osun State and yes Mallam Buhari
The 15 to 25yr old Nigerian know absolutely nothing about ethnic or religious divide or if Buhari is a Mallam or not which is why the youth are supporting Buhari in droves. Most of the rhetoric I read online that focused on making this election about religion and ethnicity are written by Yoruba people. I am afraid the only way we can move past this ethnic and religious divide is when this generation of ethnic and religious bigots die off.

Thank you. I will study this when I get home later tonight. The US media is not covering this election at all. I can only find a few brief articles online and they have no details. Oddly, I can find what Princess Kate is wearing on any moment of the day. Our media is grossly out of touch with reality.
