😦 if you don’t mind my asking, Juju, what exactly is a funeral party?

Peace Audra, funerals are a celebration in Africa especially when they are of older people.
In this case it was a double funeral of a husband and wife. The husband died a couple of months ago at 91years old and the wife died a month later while making funeral arrangements for her husband at 81years old. So they were buried together.
You can imagine how big the party was slaughtering 19 cows to feed the party guests. It was an all you can eat party attended by many dignitaries including the state governor.
A Yoruba party is not complete without a superstar artist performing live, at this event Ayuba a well known Fuji music artist performed.
Am not sure if you are aware of “spraying money” in hip hop it is known as “making it rain”. This is the part were the invited guest spray money on the band and the celebrants. At a good event renowned artist like King Sunny Ade can walk away with a million dollars of spraying money.

Peace Audra, had fun shooting the market scene on Friday. Heading to Lagos for some R&R on the coast maybe do some fishing with the locals.
It will be my honor to host and show you around the motherland.

..psst.. by the way am unfamiliar with “spraying money,” although that did make me smile, as I found one hundred dollars yesterday (big grin) nothing near a million dollars raining, but, ayyyyye!! maybe I should enquire to learn how to be become a superstar artist 😉
