Hi,
you raise a very interesting and very important point – the massive amounts of money being made out of hospitals – not only by big pharma.
Hospitals in the West are crying about funding but this is at the same time that huge profits are being made from the ‘treatment’ of suffering in them – including by their greed-motivated doctors.
Why is it that although passengers entrust their lives to taxi drivers no less than they do to doctors, bailee taxi drivers in Australia work like dogs for A$12/hour without entitlements?
It’s called class prejudice and what, in the case of doctors and other ‘professionals’, people can get away with.
A lot can be learnt from China’s ‘barefoot doctors’, beginning with their socialist ethic.
