Apple replaced the Logic Board, Optical Drive, Battery Li-Lon 77.5 WHr, Top Case w/Keyboard, and MagSafe Board on my 2010 MacBook Pro which was out of warranty and AppleCare. It was sent out for repairs with a 3-5 business days turnaround repair service.
Unfortunately it was delayed a couple of days resulting in my rescheduling my flight back to Nigeria. The Apple Genius crew at the Apple Store in Northridge, California gave great customer service and more than enough concern to cancelled my bill. A couple of weeks earlier they had given me a new battery for my iPhone 5 which was also out of warranty.
These guys totally rock, once again my MacBook Pro and iPhone 5 are ready for the beating ahead in Nigeria. – @OgbeniAyotunde
