This is what I hate about washing dishes. Not like you have a choice. My current apartment doesn’t even have a sink. Why have a sink when there’s no tap water?

Wow and am sure the landlord has no problem collecting rent. No borehole? I am afraid to ask about the bathroom situation.

Nope. There’s a borehole. And the bathroom is pretty good. Just, you know. You gotta go get the water yourself.

Got you. I guess when there is electricity water pumps through the house? My studio is in Ushafa close to Usuma Dam so there is public water. Usuma dam is big enough to supply Abuja, Niger and Nasarawa States water.

The indoor plumbing is serviced by the State water corporation and they are not corporating.

Lol which government agency cooperates.

Exactly. So you have to fetch the water yourself. It isn’t funny most of the time.

Tell me how a state corporation can control or be responsible for your indoor plumbing. I would think they are only responsible for the public line that connects to your meter. I think most of the problem is with our so called architects, builders and plumbers, they are absolutely horrible.

It’s connected to them just like it’s responsible for your electricity. Apparently it was in good working condition only a couple months ago until a new road was laid somewhere.
