American history books will have you believe the American Civil War was fought to free African slaves. That is to say the American Slave Industry, Abraham Lincoln, a self admitted racist and the U.S. Supreme Court which ruled Dred Scott as “property” with no human rights to sue for his freedom collectively became enlightened to the evils of slavery considering slaves were 70% of the American GDP. What sense does it make to murder millions of native people for their land and free the slave labor acquired to work it.
American history books tells you Christopher Columbus discovered America when in fact the whole world knows it is a lie. Pictures of Slave owning Presidents adorn all denominations of American currency simultaneously equating God to Money.
The truth is the civil war was a power show between the North and South for control of the American Slave Industry into the 20th century. The fact is Africans have never been free since enslaved over 400years ago, those that believe otherwise got paid in fools gold. – @OgbeniAyotunde

But is America the only place where they are slaves? It seems to me that those who are poor even in Africa are slaves in their nation; and the poor of all skin colors are slaves in America.

You are right about the enslavement of the poor population based on the American capitalist ideology, but in this case I am talking about government laws enacted to enslave the black population. A white man running from the police would not be shot 5times in the back and murdered like Walter Scott in South Carolina. If Amadou Diallo was white he would not have been shot 41times by the NYPD. What we are talking about is an American system designed to destroy the black population.
I dare say a poor white man in America is not the same as a poor black man in America. Yes there are many corrupt African leaders working for the American “Manifest Destiny” to indirect enslave Africans. America is only 150years removed from the civil war yet when the first black President seeks peace with Iran, Cuba and North Korea he brings out the beast in them. Just turn on your local news and see how American police murder black people for sport.

With respect to me commenting// Abraham Lincoln wanted the south to pay taxes on the slaves that the plantation owners owned. Of course, the plantation owners disagreed. So then, Lincoln suggested that the plantation owners pay the slaves wages and therefore taxes can be collected from the slaves from their wages. The plantation owners didn’t want to that neither, which would have economically strengthen slaves. Well, the only solution left was to by force make the south pay taxes. Still, the south resisted. And an all-out war broke-out/ brother against brother.
