it almost seems strange to see the power lines amongst the simple beauty of these humble homes. It sure would help our understanding of every day Nigerian life if we could make a personal visit to this colorful place.

Fascinating the shape of the the huts, do you know why they’re round? Never seen this in the SW. Looks different and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Folakemi, I believe this is native to the Tiv people of Benue State, it is different in the South West where the huts are built in square shapes. Will get more information on that.
