Muhammadu Buhari leads President Goodluck Jonathan 7points in a random sampling poll of likely voters taken by Juju Films and projected to win the February 14, 2015 Nigerian Presidential election. Top reasons given for President Goodluck Jonathan’s weak showing include his inability to tackle Boko Haram and provide security in the country, the economy, corruption, continued electricity problems and a President who has lost touch with the average Nigerian.
Interesting, curious as to how the people in the “middle class” feels about my boyo

Sorry to disappoint you there is not much of a middle class population in Nigeria it is more like extreme poor and extreme rich.

Very correct; a few super rich fueled by govt procurement or corruption while the rest are beyond poor. There may be a middle ground, note I did not say middle class – where dwells the 30 days make one pay, generally people who may work and work but are never going to. Be able to meet. Their daily needs.

Here are some of the oppositions views regarding Buhari.
(Comment) Homeboy I take you on this Goodluck J is winning this election. There is nothing anybody can do to stop it . My source well you should know by now . The Election is just less than a month but mind you nobody can stop him and our friend also may become a causality in Adamawa. I am not sure about that but I have been told that he is not popular in that state. Come what may bro Goodluck is coming back for another 4years
(Comment) You don’t get it homeboy my source is not mortal nobody can stop him.
(Comment) I like Buhari but he is getting old he is around 78 although on paper he is claiming 70 yrs old. Now you want 78 yrs old grand daddy to rule Nigeria.
(Me) As Africans we still give respect to our elders so I got nothing against his age am more impressed with his character. Am sure Muhammadu Buhari won’t fly to Paris in a show of nonsense when 2000 people just got smoked in his country. Goodluck is young and weak. In 2010 when Boko Haram was just starting his minister of information Labaran Maku actually ordered the Nigerian press to ignore them, they were “just seeking attention” his words. Then Jonathan cried about Boko Haram infiltrating his government, then he turns around and claims he has reached a cease fire with Boko Haram only for Boko to turn up the heat. Why is he sending the head of Christian Association of Nigeria to buy weapons with cash in a private jet from unlicensed arm dealers in South Africa?
(Comment) Bokoharam case was a conspiracy to unseat Jonathan even President Obama confirmed it 2 days ago. My fear with Buhari is that he is old and he is surrounded by cabals so he cannot make any decision of his own. By the way where is Atiku he has cleverly removed himself from the picture . That is another selfish politician. He is not winning and he has removed his campaign machinery from the party. It is true Jonathan need to do more and we can debate from now till Feb 14th which is the day of election but Buhari cannot win . I told you before my source is not mortal just wait till then .
(Me) So are you telling me the Northern leaders are killing their own people just for the presidency? I find that hard to believe. Muhammadu Buhari has no cabal surrounding him that is Jonathan Femi Otedola, and all the so called men of God. We Yorubas have a saying the “Ogbon ki ton laye ki awa lo so run” I know this is not a secular election as Nigeria is divided by foreign religious lines the biggest problem we have in Nigeria. So my projection is not divine just using the raw data and the reality in Nigeria
(Comment) The Nigeria that both of us grew up in has changed. The people there are selfish and money motivated. The North will do anything to get power and rule that country again. otedola is not a politician and he is with us here in London. He is a business man not a politician. I am expecting you to comment about Atiku . He is no longer on the scene. I won’t be surprise to hear later that he is back in PDP and he is supporting Jonathan. He has to recover back the money that he has spent on the APC campaign . We shall see very soon.

Here are more opposing views.
(Comment) Buhari is animal in human skin. He put your hero, Abami Edaa, Fela Anikulapo in prison for weed and says given the chance he’ll do it all over again!!! Go research him well well. Lawal Ojuolape, Bernard Ogedengbe & Bartholomew Owoh R.I.P. Muhammad Buhari, one day will be one day. God willing.
(Me) I believe Buhari was acting within the laws of the land when he locked Fela up. I was locked up with Abami Eda Fela Anikulapo Kuti in 1997 in NDLEA prison Ikoyi Lagos under the Abacha regime and you remember in 2012 in Abuja again by the NDLEA under Goodluck Jonathan under those same laws of the land. The crusade for Baba if any is in the hands of Yeni, Femi, Seun and the rest of the Anikulapo Kuti family if they hold a grudge against Buhari, same goes for the rest of the guys you mentioned.
Baba Iyabo actually sent the 99 soldiers that tossed 78yr old Funmilayo Ransome Kuti out the window of a 2nd floor room in Kalakuta Republic killing her, Beko dey there too which led to Fela delivering coffin for Head of State. If am not mistaken you are one of the biggest Obasanjo supporter this side of Abeokuta, remember 1999 in Atlanta in Sherubanwon’s house.
(Comment) you all missing the point. Let me make it simple. GMB is a bad human being and he is definately not a leader of anybody and has no achievements on record none. His main selling point is ANTI-CORUPTION, which for some reason holds a lot of apeal to the masses at this time. Dont ask me why. The Nigerian Presidency for better or for worse is a very POWERFUL position as things stand right now. The Presidency is not like the governorship of Lagos State that some ‘god fada’ can control things. Witness OBJ as with GEJ, you cant control the President like a Governor, the Asiwaju is playing with fire. Once your GMB gets the presidency all bets are off and Ebola Tinubu will be the first to go. WAKE UP 20/20 NO MORE MALLAMS SIGNING FEDERATION ACCOUNT, AT LEAST FOR 1000 YRS. As far as I am concerned the real problem now is VP Sambo in 2019, because no way for Mallams zoining be damned.
(Comment) Forget this Buhari dillitante real animal in human skin. I am not worried about him at all he got a big fat zero chance of winning the presidency. The man NEVER achieve anything in his life, why would he start being a winner at 72 yrs old after playing on ethnic solidarity to get ahead all his life? I am more worried about VP Sambo and 2019 because as far as we’re concerned, NO MORE MALLAMS signing the Federation Account.
(Me) When writer and producer George Pelecanos was asked what he saw as the solution to racism in America he said once our generation dies off, our children don’t care about racism. Jay-Z said white kids listening to Snoop Dog music don’t care about racism.
The same applies to our situation in Nigeria, I thought the Fulani, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Calabar, Igala, Gwari and the rest of the 500 ethnic groups that make up Nigeria are all Nigerians. All I see is you stoking the flames of ethnic and religious divide, living in Northern Nigeria gave me a better understanding of the genius of our people moving the capital of Nigeria to Abuja.
You see the Gwari people who’s land Abuja sits on are the most accommodating and peaceful people in Nigeria who gladly gave up their land without spilling blood as a symbol of a united Nigeria. Babangidi is from Niger State, a Gwari enclave.
Unfortunately we Yorubas are no doubt famously known for quarterbacking ethnic and religious divide. We called them Mallam in Yoruba land to demean our Northern brothers and make running jokes of a news cast announcement of an accident on Lagos – Ibadan Expressway where 5 people died and one Mallam.
Meanwhile Mallam and Ogbeni means Mister. Just like the word Nigger does not carry the same weight today as it did in the Jim Crow era in America, today in Nigeria we use Mallam to demean our intelligent Northern brothers who choose not to be called Doctor, Engineer, Architect or Alhaji. There is a long list of Mallams who have contributed to the development of Nigeria including Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Mallam El Rufai, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in Osun State and yes Mallam Buhari
The 15 to 25yr old Nigerian know absolutely nothing about ethnic or religious divide or if Buhari is a Mallam or not which is why the youth are supporting Buhari in droves. Most of the rhetoric I read online that focused on making this election about religion and ethnicity are written by Yoruba people. I am afraid the only way we can move past this ethnic and religious divide is when this generation of ethnic and religious bigots die off.
(Comment) good luck to you and your mallams sympathies. Jay-Z for us is an entertainer and his only views we’re interested in is rap music. Comparing US Jim Crow and 2nd class citizenship for non whites in the Western world to ethnic realities in Africa are comparing apples and oranges. The Bristish who joined Southern and Northern 9jah in 1914 are not stupid and there was a method to their mad schemes. Read my lips; “No more mallams signing the Federation Account or appointing heads of the security apparatus for a 100 years.” them mallams you mentioned, Ribadu, EL-Rufai & co we don’t respect. Why? Because they have NEVER achieve anything outside of government work, which they get because they’re mallams. Abokis like Aliko Dangote we respect and if you look closely at that cat his only mallam in name- his associates, demeanor etc screams non mallam- the man even speak Yoruba better than you 20/20. Like I said the problem now is 2019 and VP Sambo because if he insist on the presidency in 2019 then it will bye bye Nigeria. Anyway, Buhari has a big fat zero chance of winning. Sorry o, you can go and live with the mallams in the north if you want and good luck to you on that one. Remember what they did to your mama’s people in the 1960s, you think a leopard changes his spots? Dream on.
(Comment) During the civil war 1967-1970 thousands of Igbo people locked their properties and businesses in Ile-Ife and headed back to the east. The Oni of Ife at the time Oba Adesoji Aderemi R.I.P. decreed that nobody MUST touch the properties or businesses left behind. After the war, all the Igbos came back and found all their properties intact. Please 20/20 give ONE example in the whole of Northern Nigeria where the same thing happened. In fact ONE example where a former Igbo resident of the North went back there after the war. Read my lips: ” NO MORE MALLAMS IN POWER”. Since they are ” born to rule” they can rule each other like in the days of the INDIRECT rule during colonial times. Sorry o!!! Leopards don’t change their spots.

I posted this image https://jujufilms.tv/2015/01/09/gwandara-woman/ and asked “are you saying this little Gwandara boy has no chance of being the president of Nigeria”
(Comment) This boy has a big fat zero chance of being president of Nigeria even if it decreed that ONLY mallams can be president. 20/20 I think you’re getting carried away with this phoney “anybody get the chance to be president bullshit”. Even in the USA where you’re blogging from ANYBODY CANT BE PRESIDENT. You have to be a WASPs or at least one of your parents got to be a WASPs- a la Obama. This poor sucker I am looking at in your picture if from the North then get no chance at all. Because the elite mallams will make sure his KNOWS and STAYS in his place in the order of things. 9jah no be yankee o 20/20 quit the romantic ideal and face reality. Even moi with GCI, all them university for away- Aero Engineering, Economics e.t.c. dont get chance to be president not to talk of the poor sucker in your photo.
(Me) You are very right at that 20/20, I believe what happens today will most likely determine if this Gwandara boy lives with the prospects you just said. Then again I believe romantic ideas make for creating a better world. Some 30 years ago the internet and social media was just a romantic idea
